Το γεγονός έγινε στην Νέα Ζηλανδία και έχει πάρει τεράστιες διαστάσεις με αποτέλεσμα να ξεκινήσει έρευνα για το πώς ο άνδρας κατάφερε να ξεγελάσει τους αρμόδιους και να εμβολιαστεί για λογαριασμό άλλων ανθρώπων.

Δηλώσεις έκανε σχετικά ο Άστριντ Κοορνιφ. Ο διευθυντής της ομάδας επιχειρήσεων για το εμβόλιο και το πρόγραμμα ανοσοποίησης Covid-19 στη Νέα Ζηλανδία, ανέφερε ότι το Υπουργείο Υγείας της χώρας γνώριζε το ζήτημα και ξεκίνησε έρευνα.

«Ανησυχούμε πολύ για αυτήν την κατάσταση και συνεργαζόμαστε με τις αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες. Το να υπό κλέψουμε την ταυτότητα ενός άλλου ατόμου και να λάβουμε ιατρική περίθαλψη είναι επικίνδυνο.
Αυτό θέτει σε κίνδυνο το άτομο που λαμβάνει εμβολιασμό με αλλη ταυτότητα αλλά και το άτομο του οποίου το ιστορικό υγείας δείχνει ότι έχει εμβολιαστεί ενώ δεν το έχει κάνει.”
